Sales Manager - Gold's Gym Arabia

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager manages sales of the Gym's products and services the club they are responsible for.

Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages an assigned health club to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales productivity.
  • Directs professional account management activities.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable product/services sales.
  • Manages and develops sales strategies per market demands
  • Manages sales activities (i.e. target areas and product range in demand)
  • Educates sales team in terms of sales tactics.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of products and services; recommends necessary changes to improve sales income.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following issues:
  • New account sales and growth to base through salesforce.
  • Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.
  • Improved seminar presentations.
  • Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
  • Proper use and level of sales support.
  • Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.
  • Business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts through the head of sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing; or 5 – 7 years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or
complaints from members and staff. Ability to effectively present information his/her direct
Supervisor.
