Sales Executive - Gold's Gym Arabia

JOB SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling
renewals/upgrades to the current gym. Plus greets, assists, and directs members, guests, staff, and callers as
they enter or call the gym. Also performs a variety of administrative and operational duties as necessary.

 

SALES DUTIES:

  • Generates sales leads through Company-sponsored (walk-ins and TI’s) and employee-sponsored
  • (outreach and promotions) Maintains accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored leads.
  • Follows up on all prospects by using established sales systems
  • Conduct gym tours using established sales systems
  • Conduct telephone inquiries using established sales systems
  • Establish and maintain a minimum of 10 lead boxes/bowls in the community on a monthly basis
  • Must establish and maintain a minimum required referral program as defined by Company standards
  • Maintain FC planner using established sales systems
  • Must be current on Company pricing and promotion schedule
  • Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff, and policies.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations.
  • Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills. Prepares for, attends, and actively participates in sales meetings.
  • Maintains a positive relationship with the rest of the staff. Supports other staff in achieving their goals
  • Participates in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager
  • Successfully completed the FC Training courses.

OP DUTIES:

  • Greets and checks-in all members as they enter the gym.
  • Greets and registers guests.
  • Answers the phone using the correct greeting and assists callers as needed.
  • Assists members with all inquiries
  • Maintains a clean and orderly front desk/lobby area
  • Ensures that front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiry, Guest Registration, Replacement of Member ID Card, Delinquent Account Procedures, Account Change requests.
  • Projects a polished, professional image at all times
  • Provides a superior level of customer service to members and guests
  • Performs a variety of duties including filing paperwork, folding towels, doing a walkthrough of the facility, or any other duties assigned.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or
complaints from members and staff. Ability to effectively present information his/her direct
Supervisor.
