Fitness Supervisor - Gold's Gym Arabia

JOB SUMMARY:

Plan, Check, Monitor, and Coordinates the fitness team by performing the following duties personally.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a High Standard Service as set by the company.
  • Organizing all Fitness staff schedules.
  • Make sure that all Fitness Staff in their duties on time wearing their assigned uniforms and Nametag.
  • Organizing & managing all types of trainers Appointments.
  • Preparing & developing monthly Classes schedules according to KPI’s reports.
  • Perform Monthly Reports For Classes As Assign By Fitness Director.
  • Managing Time Sheets (change of schedules and Correction) of staff on monthly basis and as per company policy and procedure.
  • Prepare working of Commission for trainers with the help of Fitness Manager/Fitness Director.
  • Solving all staff problems and issues with other departments (such as HR, Higher Management) after Fitness Director Permission.
  • Ensuring that all fitness equipment is up and
  • Evaluating and assessing all fitness staff.
  • Enforcing and apply all GOLD’S GYM policies and procedures in the fitness department and notice to Fitness Director In case of Any Rules or Procedures Violation.
  • Work on Achieving Fitness Department Assigned Targets (SSVD & Sales) by Monitoring, Presenting, and sending by email Daily/monthly statistics to Fitness Director including:
    • Number of Paid Personal Training Sessions done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • A number of Personal Training Packages sold with the amount for each trainer individually and over Branch.
    • Number of Celebrity Personal Training Sessions done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • No. of Annual Follow-Up Card & Fitness Assessments done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • No. of Gold’s Fitness Test (GFT) done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • No. of Fitness Program Sessions (Free Sessions) that include in Membership Fess done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • No. of PT. Taster (WOW SESSION) done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • No. of GGX Classes / Swimming Classes done for each Trainer individually and over Branch.
    • The Percentage and Details of Actual Achievements of each trainer Individuals VS Assigned Target.
    • The Percentage and Details of Actual Achievements of the Branch VS Assigned Target Up to date and up to month-end.
    • Provide Justification whenever targets not achieved.
    • Give the trainers full support and help needed to achieve their Target.
    • Perform Follow up Calls with Members.
    • Dealing with member’s complaints and solving them.
    • Evaluating Aerobics Classes and Personal Trainers Sessions through personally attending classes and training sessions (randomly).
    • Attend the one on one and weekly Departmentally Meeting assigned by Fitness Director.
    • Keep a solid filing system for all members and department documents.
    • Hold weekly meetings for the department staff to promote and implement fitness schedules and programs after coordination with the Fitness Director.
    • Perform any Task Assigned By Fitness Director or Higher Managements (COO/CEO).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages and directs All Trainers and Trainees in the Fitness Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Gym’s policies and applicable laws.

Follow up with each trainer and achieve fitness department targets.

Responsibilities include viewing, monitoring, planning, assigning, and directing work as per given instructions by fitness director, monitoring performance, rewarding and disciplining employees depends on FACTS and KPI’s, addressing complaints, and solving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Physical Education, CPT Certification or equivalent; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members and staff.
  • Ability to effectively present information to the Fitness Director.
  • Ability to speaks, write and read English.
  • Reasoning Ability and Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to learn and improve.
